Day 0

Date: 20/10/2024

Arrive: Bankok Airport, BUS transfer organised to Pattaya, 2024 Welcome Dinner 

Details: Meet your friends, build your bike, get rest, get ready to ride!

Day 1

Date: 21/10/2024

Start:  5:00am > Pattaya Amari Hotel 

Route: Pattaya Amari Hotel to Bang Phae Beach in Rayong Province 

Ride Type: Road ride through the Thai towns and country side, some hills

Finish: Aksorn Rayong Resort

Distance: 161 kms (day) / 161 kms (total)

Day 2

Date: 22/10/2024

Start: 5:00 am > Aksorn Rayong Resort

Route: Rayong Loop back to the hotel

Ride Type: Road ride, loop through the Thai countryside and small towns

Finish: Aksorn Rayong Resort

Distance: 187 kms (day) / 348 kms (total)

Day 3

Date: 23/10/2024

Start: 5:00 am > Aksorn Rayong Resort

Route: Rayong to Chantaburi

Ride Type: Road ride through the rice fields, villages, Thai countryside, some hills

Finish: Rim Naam Klang Chan Hotel

Distance: 207 kms (day) / 555 kms (total)

Day 4

Date: 24/10/2024

Start: 5:00 am > Rim Naam Klang Chan Hotel

Route: Chantaburi to Soi Dao National Park

Ride: Road ride through National Parks, rural communities  

Finish: Chatruim Golf Resort

Distance: 191 kms (day) / 746 kms (total)  

Day 5

Date: 25/10/2024

Start Leg 1:  5:00 am >  Soi Dao National Park to Ban Pakkad Boarder

Start Leg 2:  Border crossing from Thailand to Cambodia,  ride into the school Battambang

Route: Challenging Thai / Cambodian hills in the beginning, then flat village ride to school 

Finish: Hope For Cambodian School – celebration and performance by the children 

Distance: 49kms + 95 kms (day) / 890 kms (total)

NB: After the School,  the bikes will be packed to the boxes, put in the van.  We will have time for a Swim 

Day 6

Date: 26/10/2023
Bus to Siam Reap

Special Gala Dinner at the Hotel to thank the riders, celebrate the achievement. 

All you need to know

Deposit – SGD 500 (payable on sign-up to pay for kits, hotel bookings, guides etc), please send picture and bio to / 

Balance – SGD 600 (payable 4-6 weeks before the ride) this ensures that the ride is paid for independently of the money raised. 

Please note that by signing up you agree to raise at least $500

100% of the money you raise goes to the kids / charity

Early starts, early breakfast on the road, lunch stop around midday and we will aim to complete each day no later than 4 pm although you will be expected to bring lights. 

The ride will be accompanied by guides on bikes (one at the front one at the back / sweeper) and a support vehicle to carry drinks, snacks and support in case of a puncture etc.

At the end of each day, we will gather to share stories of bikes gone by and tall tales of how we are going to tell our partners about our new bike purchases when we return home.

On the final day, we will ride into the HOPE Centre and share an emotional greeting from the kids and staff.

On Saturday / Sunday there will be optional mountain bike tours around Angkor Wat

  • Food on day 0
  • Any alcohol requirements
  • Medical or insurance cover – you must get this on your own
  • Flights to Thailand and Home from Cambodia
  • Bike spares / tubes etc  – you must bring what you need 
  • Visas for Thailand and Cambodia – you must organise paperwork yourself
